Giuseppe Cristiano is an Italian actor, born in Melfi, Basilicata, on March 9, 1990.

He was awarded, when he was just thirteen years old, at the Flaiano Film Festival in Pescara with an Audience Award for the movie Io non ho paura (2003), directed by the Academy Award Gabriele Salvatores.

The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Niccolò Ammaniti, in which he plays the role of a young boy dealing with a kidnapping. For this film, the actor also received the Diamante al Cinema award in Venice.

In 2008 he returned to the big screen with the film Come Dio comanda, also directed by Gabriele Salvatores and based on the novel of the same name by Ammaniti.

He has been involved in several plays such as “Romeo and Juliet” directed by Valerio Binasco, “Tane” directed by Lucia Di Cosmo and finally, “Maria Antonietta” directed by Antonio Serrano, appreciated all over the country.

Moreover, Giuseppe took part in some Italian tv series and played the role of Evaristo in the movie “Il Ladro di Giorni” directed by Guido Lombardi and produced by Indigo Film, Bronx Film and Rai Cinema.

Recently, he has worked on two unique projects, respectively entitled: “Unica” (2022), set and produced in China and “Non Credo in Niente” (2022). Both projects have been directed by the emerging artist Alessandro Marzullo, born and based in Italy.
